  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I just called to remove my deposit of this Telluride in St. Cloud as I found one at another dealer/already picked mine up. I do not know if they were charging over MSRP, I did not ask at the time of the deposit, but being MN my guess is no (or only $1k or so).

Placed the order in late July and the dealer speculated it would arrive in September (hope it does for you).

Note: At 2:00pm CST today, I am waiting for the 'call back' to release the deposit as my sales rep was busy, but I wanted to write this up while I was thinking about it so you all could get a head start if in the market.

Dang it, if it was dune i would be all over it. Still holding out for that combo, seems to be hard to find. How is your Telluride experience going so far?

It has been outstanding. The most surprising two things are:

  1. The driving assist/self steering. This alone could have sold a car for me. Is it truly self driving? No. Is it more than I was expecting, HELL YEAH. Very impressed with all of the little safety features. If you use your phone or change the radio/settings often in your car (admitting to it or not) OR if you have kids/pets often in the car with you, the simple neck crank and or eyes off the road for those 1-2 seconds (really more like 3-5+) now give me peace of mind knowing some auto steering and adaptive cruise are watching out for me and the family.

  2. The ability to customize so many features is impressive as well. Sure, not everything is configurable and you will quickly find a thing or three that you wish were, but over all it is refreshing to see so many options that you can pick at different feature levels. Even having blue light filtering on the display is like a WOW moment. Critical and really needed? No, but in today's world and having it on smart phones... it just makes sense and how forward thinking Kia is on the little things.
There are of course the obvious style features and touches that we all know about, so these two really stood out to me that I do not think are talked about enough in all the review videos I have seen.

Nice! I'm super excited to have all the bells and whistles for the first time in a vehicle. My Wrangler has next to nothing tech/safety-wise and my wife's hybrid is mid-level from 2012 that isn't much better feature-wise. Glad to hear you are loving it, thanks for the insight!
