• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Hi There,

Long time lurker first time poster.
Not an owner yet but super interested and impressed so far.
Quick question for you all.

Can someone explain how the AWD diff lock is working on the Telluride?
Does it actually lock the center coupling and send linear power to all 4 wheels at the same time? I did read the owners manual but it fails to explain it. Any diagrams?

Also - have not found anything regarding Hill Descent Control - found on a lot of SUVs. We actually use this a lot, descending a steep, long and snowy driveway(hence the AWD lock to get up said driveway). If not I wonder how hard it could be to program this in?

Many thanks.
