• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Hey all - I am trying to take off this piece of plastic on the back driver side area under where the door would be when closed:

What is this piece called and how do I go about removing it? Docent seem to want to come off.

Commonly called sill plate or scuff plate, Kia has decided its Pad U:ROFLMAO:

As with all interior trim pieces, if there are no exposed fasteners or fastener covers, the part is held on by clips, one or more of the following types are associated with this particular trim piece (photo below, clips D,E,or C), and I suspect will have a minimum of at least 4 clips holding it on. As you pull up on the trim piece, you will find it flexes less near where a fastener is holding it on, focus your pull at that area. Plastic trim removal tools are handy.
