  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Bad Dealer Concerns Prior To Purchase

I am reaching out to anyone who may have had experience - good or bad, with dealership Kia Country of Savannah. More specific, their service department. The reviews that I have read thus far don't give me a warm fuzzy feeling about them working on my car. This dealership is local to me and the next closest dealership is over an hour away in Brunswick. The Brunswick dealership seems to have a much better reputation but an hour is a long distance to drive, especially if there is a serious problem to fix.

With everything that I have read on this forum and on other sites, I feel that the Telluride will be a good purchase but to think that I might be looking at an untrustworthy dealership/service really scares me. Even to the point of buying a Toyota from a local dealership that has a reputable service department. I am hoping that there is someone out there who has encountered this same issue and can offer some advice that I haven't considered. Thanks.

Unless you run into something crazy, they are mostly changing oil, rotating tires, and going through their "checklist". I would think they can handle this. If anything else comes up that is questionable, then tell them you will seek another opinion and take the trip to the other dealer. This isn't a Fiat or Jaguar that you will be on a first name basis with the service manager, or at least hope!
