• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I stumbled on this earlier today actually...

It looks like what you’re looking for - covers the whole area when the seats are down, and folds on to itself when they are up. Not sure if this is something new, or just not discussed that much on the forum? I’m intrigued by it and wondering if others have it.

That site says out of stock but searching for the part number finds other sites that have it in stock, and for less.
That is the one we have. I believe it is OEM and covers third row up well and down as well. I do not need more.

My concern with this one is it doesn’t extend right to the corners at the nearest point of the tailgate. Is that correct? Seems that way from the pics. See redline on pic attached.

@Tobstertx3 that was my same concern. And I don’t believe it does because you can fold it up and put it under the cargo tray, so it has to maintain that straight edged shape.

Guys, is it OEM Kia liners on the photo?

Yes, that’s what I thought too.

I frequent this thread and this one often

I'm pretty sure that I'm going to purchase the smartliner floormats with their cargo mat, whether that be the full coverage (2nd row) or cargo coverage (3rd row) or both.
I'll caveat with saying, I'm only specifically looking at floor mats that provide coverage between captains chairs, which limits some of the brands.

Still haven't decided on a cargo mat.
I will add that any product that rolls up like a yoga mat and just sits there until needed, while practical in ways, is not a solution that we're pursuing.

The problem we're facing is that, if we buy a product from a company that just offers 3rd row coverage (the smaller mat), we're leaving the seat backs unprotected when the seat is down. If we buy a full coverage mat, it limits you being able to put the 3rd row up, and when you do, you don't have cargo coverage.

I say we'll have the 3rd row down most often. She says we won't (and she'll probably win the argument until we need to haul things, you know, like the stroller and a load of groceries that'll probably require the seat to be down....which is often).

I feel that the 60/40 split products are the most practical, whether that means the Kia carpeted one 2020-2021 Kia Telluride Carpeted Cargo Mat With Seat Back Protection (AA017) or the canadian one OEM All Weather Premium Cargo Mat with 60/40 Seatback Protection

These ones leave the seat back protected when up or down, but the US carpeted one isn't all weather and just provides an added layer of protection and the Canadian one is $$ to ship. It does, however, meet all of the other needs. I.E. if I bought both the full or partial coverage mats from Smartliner or similar company, I'd have to store one in the garage and deliberately swap out when needed. With this option, you don't have the flexibility or convenience that the 60/40 does in that, if running errands and you need that space / protection, you can just drop and go.

-Question the misses wanted me to ask - has anyone who has the 3rd row down most often noticed any pressure indentations into the 3rd row seats? Do the backs lay directly onto the seats or is there a mechanism that acts as a dead-fall and prevents the seats from laying directly on the seat? We want to be able to protect the integrity of the seat when down.

Oh the dilemma.

Bringing it back -
I reached out to Smart Liner today to ask if there was a 'combo' priced package for the floor mats with both cargo mats. They said no. I also asked if they were doing any promotions for Labor Day weekend. They said no to this also. That said, they do offer 10% off for military, first responders, teachers, and students, something WT doesn't do (Huskey does).

I'm probably going to get the full floor mat set plus the 3rd row cargo mat and figure it out from there.

They are getting my vote for price point and ergonomic design.

Smartliners are pretty sweet for the money. They'll do the job for sure when compared to the WT's I've owned. Bought them the morning that we were to pick up our vehicle from the $165 ebay auction (on a Friday.) They arrived Monday 👍 Pretty good coverage. Still undecided on what I want to use in the rear cargo area.20200824_143854.jpg20200824_144016.jpg20200824_143705.jpg20200824_143725.jpg

I know this is the cargo thread, but those do look good and seem to have great coverage.

I also note your towels on the kid's chairs. Good use of trying to blend colors ;).
But seriously, we have this product in our current vehicle. It's been great but I am not sure how it's going to work with the captains chairs. Only time will tell.

Ha. Yea still deciding on seat covers too. Not sure if we want those pads or an actual slip type cover. We'll see

@Familyman20 , a cover like that is pretty neat. I haven't thought of that and may look into it.

Does it really fit folded up under the cargo tray? Might come in handy if you only need it occasionally when the 3rd row seats are down - even if it doesn't fully cover the side areas near the rear cargo area.

@IAHAWK ,

According to this video, it does. And yes, I could see the handiness of it and its design. Just doesn't offer the full coverage I'm after

Installed the pet blanket in the rear today. Not bad for the money, wish it was wider to come up the sides more tho but the flap over the rear bumper is nice. One day I'd like to get the Canadian 60/40 liner. 20200830_215912.jpg20200830_220011.jpg20200830_220155.jpg20200830_220047.jpg
