It’s a nice fallback when driving and using your turn signal (to verify the lane is empty after your own eyes and the blind spot monitor radar has already declared the lane empty). The only reason I'm considering the SX is for the mirror cameras. Do you find them useful? Interstate around here is 8 lanes, but only test drove the EX.
Thanks. I didn't realize that was an option in the HUD. I've since turned the option on. Nice.I exclusively look at the blindspot warning on my heads up display (SXP) instead of looking for that little orange indicator on my side mirrors when I am thinking about changing lanes for regular driving.
There is a blind spot for short people driving the cat, and dangerous, doing a left turn from drivers seat the hood and the windshield left post are in the wayThe only reason I'm considering the SX is for the mirror cameras. If you have an SX, do you have the feature turned on?Hey everybody!
I’ve got a 21 Telluride Nightfall edition w/ prestige pkg and me and the family are really enjoying it!
I think it is a great vehicle but I am getting a little bit disappointed with the knowledge of the local dealer service reps with the Telluride.
The most recent experience I’m having is part of the Blind Spot Monitoring System that isn’t working - the camera view on the center of the instrument panel that comes on with the turn signal.
I am being told it doesn’t come on the Telluride, but I thought it was a standard feature from everything I’ve read/seen.
Am I losing my mind or misunderstanding this feature or is it a standard feature that isn’t working?
I sure would appreciate any insight from you guys!
Big thanks!!!
Wow, thanks for the super quick reply! If you have an SX, do you have the feature turned on?
User settings > driver assistance > blind spot safety > blind spot view… make sure it is checked and enabled.
Wow, thanks for the super quick reply!
I’ve got a SX. Yep, the “Blind Spot View” is checked. Thanks for making sure, because I sure have been known to be the source of a many “user errors” in the past!
Another “funny” part of the story... While I was waiting on the 7500 Service to be completed, I pulled up an online video of that system and showed it to the service advisor. He said he had no idea it had that feature!
He still swears it shouldn’t be working on my Telluride...
I sure thank you for your quick response and look forward to any insight you might have...
