• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... We got our Telluride a few weeks ago. 'Groot' came in perfect condition, 15 weeks ahead of schedule. Couldn't be happier.

The only issue is the center console padding inside at the bottom. It doesn't fit. It's too wide and too short, like it's for a different car.. I've contacted them a couple times and sent a pic. They said it's normal. I took a video and sent that back and now silence.

Look at the video, it's clearly not right. Is the pad in here supposed to be rubber or a stiff felt like material?

Anyways. Any suggests?

That‘s weird... I have a 2020, and while mine looks like it is likely the same (or similar) material, it is perfectly cut and does not seem like it is removable (at least not easily).

Thanks for confirming it's the same material. Hopefully that didn't change w the 21'.

I'll call the dealer tomorrow and see what's up. Feel kinda silly going to the Kia service center for that. Haha. My sales dealer was 1.5 hr drive since the locals were charging 6k-10k over msrp.

I can confirm that it has not changed. I have a 2021 and it’s the same material, but mine fits perfectly and doesn’t remove without effort.

When I picked up mine yesterday, I noticed my padding was not in place. I lined it up and it dropped right in. Seems to be same material.

Two of us have played with it. Taking it out, flipping it...spinning it. :(

How far is the dealer you bought from? Drive there, show them the problem, see if they can swap it with one on the lot. Or just bite the bullet and take a knife/scissors to it.

1.5 hrs drive. Even with knife/scissors, its too short in one direction. It's for a different car.

This dealer generally doesn't keep any on the lot since they sell at msrp.

I'm hoping the dealer can just pop one in the mail. Fingers crossed.

Here’s a cheap alternative that may work out better. Buy a rubber tool liner mat and cut it out to fit. Amazon has this: CASOMAN Professional Tool Box Liner and Drawer Liner,Easy Cut Non-Slip Foam Rubber Toolbox Drawer Liner Mat - Adjustable Thick Cabinet Liners,Black,16 inch (wide) x 6 feet (long) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07KB4FQ47/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fabc_UuEPFb5PGWG2Q

Oh!! Great idea! I can also use this for other plastic address l areas where stuff slides. Places like the rest driver side cubbie, spaces in the door where water bottles go. ;). And... For our trailer that were buying in a couple months.
