• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... We have a brand new 2021 Telluride, maybe 6 weeks old now. Yesterday my wife was in the middle of nowhere western KY and it won’t start. She has a battery charger and it says the battery is fully charged but the vehicle won’t even turn over and the brake pedal is high and she said very stiff. She called Kia roadside assistance and they never sent out a tow truck. They told her she could just leave the key in the car and one would come out overnight and it never did. This is super frustrating as my family is basically stuck in a rural part of the country. We are also HIGHLY frustrated that a brand new vehicle like this could have this problem. Does anyone have any advice or had this happen before?

Sounds like you might have a bad cell in your battery. Have someone try to jump start it. If it works, 99% it's your battery.

Thanks, that’s exactly what it was! We ended up getting a new battery. We are glad it isn’t anything more serious with the car. Now to figure out a permanent fix for windows not rolling up all the way…
