• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Hi all,
I'm the proud new owner of a wolf gray SXP. Its my first new car after driving used for 20 years... and i've never been much of a "car guy."

That said, I love the new ride, and I think it'd look awesome with orange calipers. I've seen a few people on this forum that painted orange. I thought about painting, but am leaning toward covers for a couple reasons. 1) Easier to install, 2) wont need touch ups/redos, and 3) Removable if i were to change my mind on them in the future.

Reviewing this forum and some others, seems like people either love the covers or hate them because they look fake, cheap, etc. I cant tell if those are the people that are into performance mods, etc. I'm not going to upgrade the brakes on this, and no, its not a porsche. I'm going to haul my two kids around to pre-school and hockey practice in it.

What are your all's thoughts on covers.. I get that its an opinion, just trying to gauge. Does it look cool, or does it look lame/poser-y?

Second question - assuming i do get covers, has anyone ordered the Bengal Orange from MGP, and how close is the orange to the running lights?

Thanks all!

Not a thing for me; this is a family hauler IMO.

I never heard of it before posting on this forum and then I thought those were cool, until I've seen tons of judgement against them online, lol.

I wouldn't recommend them. The faster they dissipate heat after braking the better. Covers just retain some of the heat.
