If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I just received my Canadian version of the cargo mat with the much vaunted 60/40 split for the third row seats. I thought it might be helpful for some folks to post a short video describing these mats for those who may be considering this option. This is probably one of the more costly options for a cargo mat, but if you want to have your full mat and still have functional third row seats, this is about the best option out there (so far). Yes, it was pricy when you add shipping, but I'm very happy with this mat.

All these pics of your ride, I think I may be switching to butterscotch... Looks sharp, and the black headliner is a huge bonus.

The Butterscotch interior is one big reason I decided not to get the Prestige package (Butterscotch is not an option). Also, Butterscotch is the only leather option that comes with a plain (non-fuzzy) black headliner - which I love ❤️ (it’s a very nice cloth-type headliner too).

Thanks for creating the video! When my car comes in I think I'll order one along with the all black side step also only available through Canadian dealers when my car comes in.

Wish your video showed the potential difficulties with opening and closing that compartment underneath it.

Once you get the hang of it, it's not bad. As long as there is not a bunch of stuff on top if the lid, the mat lifts back pretty easily.

I wonder if it would be possible/useful to attach the lid to the bottom of the mat so they could open as one piece.

I honestly think that would cause more problems that it's worth. As long as you lift the mat first (it's easy) then the lid to the bottom compartment is easy to lift. Of course I've not tried attaching the mat to the lid, but my sense is it would become cumbersome and if the back end of the lid came off the little ledge it sits on, it would be harder to get it situated with the mat was attached.

Thank you, great review!
I wish KIA would bring this option their US Stealers, sorry, I mean dealers.
Thanks. I knew there were a lot of people on then forum considering trying to get a mat through a Canadian dealer, so I thought this video would help them decide if the extra expense would be worth it. Of course I would have preferred to pay a lot less than I did, but now that I have it, I'm glad I got this option - it is so much more flexible and allows you to have a full area mat while still being able to use the third row seats if needed. Like you. I wish the US Dealers had this option available - it's such a logical solution!

I still can’t believe there isn’t an aftermarket mat comparable to this. I’d like this but not convinced I want it enough to pay for the shipping to the US.

I agree! Paying the shipping was a hard pill to swallow. Had there been an equivalent after market option that’s likely what I’d have done.

I am hoping the borders open mid summer as the dealer that is selling these is only about 5 - 6 hours away from me and it would make a nice weekend vacation and drive by Niagara Falls. I like them but the shipping is more than I am willing to pay.

I'm in the queue for a new SXP and think I'll be doing the same thing to pick up this 60/40 cargo mat and the black OEM running boards also only available in Canada (versus the brushed chrome trimmed boards available in the US). I'm about 3 hours from Windsor, ON or Sarnia, ON and by the time my Telluride gets delivered I'm expecting the borders will be open again.

Just ordered mine from 401 Dixie Kia in Ontario and it came out to about $297 shipped. Pricey, yes, but even the canvasback one was like $230, and I don't like it that much...so might as well.

Dude, that video was awesome. I wish others would do the same. I was quoted $295 for the cargo cover and shipping. A bit pricey but I’m weighing all options.

I imagine there might be latches or something located on the backside of the seats. Can the latches be accessed with the cover installed, or would you need to cut openings in the cover?

Latches are covered. I believe this is why they aren't allowed to sell them in the USA.
