• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I have a 2021 Telluride SX-P. My center console is sticky (sometimes difficult) to open. I asked the my dealership to take a look to see if there was an adjustment that could be made. There only suggestion was an approximate $475 for a new console. I just have a sticky latch, has anyone had this issue and how did you fix it? Thanks

Have the same issue..2021 SX-P. The stealerships in So. Jersey don't give a $h!t about other issues with my car let alone the center console. Didn't even bother to try and get them to fix it.

Can sand down the catch area where the latch hooks on when closed. Or tie an elastic around the latch itself to create less "bite".

Thanks guys for your fix inputs. I fixed mine by adding a little bit of Silicon lub to a cloth and wiped it on both sides of the latch and it currently works fine but if it starts again I will follow your recommendation of sanding or shaving the latch.

Stay Safe & Stay Well and thanks
