If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I have read that the center differential lock is not available on Canadian Tellurides. Is that true? I’ve also read that they have more drive modes than the USA spec vehicles. Can any Canadian owners confirm this? Thanks!

Hi Sportshot2,

I can confirm that there is no locking center differential in the Tellurides, which is a bit odd 'cuz our '17 Sorento EX V6 had it. But there are more drive and terrain modes which is very neat.

I wonder why KIA chose not to put the Center differential lock for Canadians? I would like to see a test of USA spec vehicles against Canadian spec vehicles to see if they have the same capability in snow, ice and off road situations.

Seems to me that most of Canada gets more snow and ice than the USA and it might be of greater use in Canada. Possibly a cost factor? Cheaper to add modes than a Center Differential Lock?
