If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Hi- I have a question regarding placing an order for a telluride- how does one know if the estimates given for time are accurate or not? Is it better to order from a dealer that gets lots of tellurides or a dealer that gets a few but maybe not as many people order from? Some dealers say 6-8 months, some say 6-8 weeks- why the huge differences? Are the estimates usually accurate? I want to place an order and have a few dealerships that can order at msrp- how do I figure out which is most likely to be the quickest?
Thanks

Check failcat.com to see which dealer gets the most of the trim you are after.

I did check failcat but figure there has to be more to it-one dealer has only 2-4 total tellurides on failcat per month and someone placed an order 4 weeks ago and is picking up next week while others have 15-25 per month and they say the wait is 6-8 months.
