• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I'm wondering if anyone else is experiencing what I'm about to describe. I own a 2020 Telluride SXL Nappa in Sangria. Love the vehicle. But I've recently discovered I seem to have a cold air draft issue.

Since we're now in winter here in Canada, and I'm stubborn enough to wear shorts while I use my snowblower (take that, Mother Nature.... I'm not afraid of your wrath)... I also wear shorts when I'm driving the Telluride. What I'm experiencing is that after coming out of a turn onto a side street at an intersection (where you're turning 90 degrees to your left or right) and then straigtening out again, immediately after straightening the wheel, I feel a distinct cold draft blow into the footwell area from the front hinge side of the door. It seems to do it in both directions, but appears to be more pronounced after turns to the right. I'm wondering if somehow when the wheels straightens back up in the wheelwell if somehow air is compressed more and gets blown past the door seals near the bottom front corner of the door area. I'm not seeing any snow powder or anything coming inside, but I do feel a distinct cold draft of air. It only lasts for a few seconds and then stops... untl the next turn.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Have you tried seeing if this problem occurs when you have climate control off? Or with the fan blower setting pointed to face only?

It almost sounds like it could be the footwell vent blowing air at your legs and is more pronounced during turns.

Unless the weather seals on the door arent fully secured. Could test the theory stuffing a small towel where you feel the draft.

Some good thoughts on how to test this out, and I'll give it a shot to see what shows up. Turing the blowers off completely sounds like a good first step and sanity check, and if that doesn't deal with it, then I have to start looking for seal leakage. The reason I'm suspecting it's not fan related is that the air is noticably cold when this happens. More like outside ambient temps than inside warm air that should be blowing when the heater and ventilations fans are operational.
