• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Yep. Just got done replacing them. I share pictures of soon.

I had my all by rear lights, turn signals, etc blackout out so I am hoping this helps brighten my reverse lights when backing up in the dark.

If not, no biggie it looks great. Also had the chrome delete done around my windows with vinyl. The gunmetal chrome was starting to wear and looked bad. The all black looks amazing.

I was going to trade in my 2021 for a 2023 but with interest rates and demand I'll just keep tinkering with this one.

Nice. Looking forward to seeing some pics

Yeah I did them in under 10 so it can be done and I’m not an expert.
I watched the Lasfit video and it looks a little intimidating. Did you use the OP's recommended Auxito or Lasfit reverse backup lights? Did you use any special tools beyond the screwdriver?

I used the auxito bulbs. For tools I bought and used Tresalto auto trim removal tool set 5 pack from Amazon. It won’t let me link to them.

Just did reverse and license plate lights on 2021. It all went really smoothly for the reverse lights but man those license plate bulbs gave me all sorts of trouble - there is barely any wire slack on the them and they just didn’t want to line up properly to screw back into place. As it stands now I am not totally happy with how symmetrically they went in. Oh well all the bulbs work at least.

Yes same here. Zero slack, you definitely have to be gentle and work with what you got essentially.

Also I know its been said hundreds of times but this is a great write up for someone like my self looking to convert some halogen bulbs into LED on my '24 (everything should be LED in 2024 c'mon)

It sucks that most of the installation guide links are dead and lead to nowhere but you just have to use google and youtube and find how to replace the bulb you want to do.

The license plate bulb was fairly simple except it totally felt like I was going to break the plastic clips that hold the lens and there was zero wire slack so you had to work with what you had.

The reverse bulb lights was actually the easiest one. It seems intimidating because you have to pop the plastic clips on the back hatch but honestly it was nothing, they pop in and out easily.

The absolute hardest one (which I am still in the middle of as I type this) is the Tail Light/Brake Light Bulbs. The only thing that makes it hard is the black plastic trim part that you remove before you get to the assembly. WOW this is a pain in the ass. It was SO hard to not snap those plastic clips. It's confusing because your not sure if you need to use a little force but your scared to break it.

It took an hour just to take the black trim piece off. After that, the bulbs was nothing. I needed to take a break because I literally can't figure out how to pop the trim piece back on now to finish the job and I was getting a little frustrated.

UPDATE: Soo... I need to return them because they don't work on MY24. (Brake and Tail Lights)

They worked for a little bit on Day 1. Then I'm not sure what happened but they gave me a dash light code error. I had no blinker ability and they got stuck thinking I'm always braking. Sooo gonna have to take them out tonight and replace with original bulbs. I used the LASFIT 1157 brake light bulbs.

Did y'all actually lay under the car to see where the light bulb was or just feel around for it without laying under??

I'm going to try replacing my reverse lights on my 2024 SX but from a quick check, I couldn't tell where the bulb was. I only tried on the passenger side since it sounds like I wouldn't have to remove anything to get to the bulb.

I swapped out the License plate and Backup bulbs, backup bulbs can be a pita to twist in/out if you don't have smaller hands & forearms... The LEDs make a HUGE difference!

Yes the backup LEDs are night and day difference.

Can you link these please? Thanks.
All -

The OP on this thread was amazing. I installed the headlights first, thinking I’d also do turn signals before going for rear lights considering some of commentary I’ve seen here.

The turn signals are a bit confusing here. The originals are unavailable on Amazon, and many subsequent posts discussing them were not specific enough on which to buy, which has led me to a dead end.

The first ones I purchased were mentioned/linked somewhere here but hyperblinked:
  • EverBright 1157 Led Bulb Amber, BAY15D 1034 2057 2357 7528 Bulb for RV Camper SUV MPV Car Led Tail Lights Side Marker Light, 18SMD 5050Chips DC-12V, Yellow (Pack of 4)IMG_7870.jpeg
The next ones I purchased I can’t recall if they were linked or mentioned somewhere, but I tried to figure out the right ones on my own and they did not fit:

  • 3156 3056 P27W CANBUS Error Free Anti Hyper Flash LED Turn Signal Lights | Amber Yellow, 2 BulbsIMG_7871.webp

I don’t see anything come up on the Lasfit website when you enter the Telluride info.

Can anyone recommend the correct turn signals that are actually available today? I have a 2022 Telluride S.
Thank you so much!
