Configurator: Why can't I choose Wolf Grey exterior or Gray/Dune Brown Nappa interior colors?

That’s what I thought myself. Guess I’ll have to ask the salesman why he thinks the order went in and was accepted then. I asked twice even after that text from him

I think you should. I asked a salesperson I am dealing with and he categorically said, without a doubt, that that combo can't be had. Please come back and update us once you get confirmation one way or another on your order. I personally feel think gray with gray goes better than gray with brown.

Yeah. My wife just won’t have the dune. Black isAlso completely fine. So maybe it went as that.

What happens if we have a shit order combo entered by him however that happens. This is so much different than any other vehicle brand order I’ve made. PS I am going to visit him tomorrow

They said it was acknowledged by Kia as a valid order. But I also have no proof of this. I’ve been told elsewhere this is a bunk combo.

hmm that's strange. I hope it goes through for you though ! I definitely wanted Grey interior but since it wasn't available with Wolf Gray I went with Dune brown

I've been waiting a VERY long time for a Wolf Gray + Butterscotch combo (since August of 21, expected ETA in 30ish days from now) so I've been very aware of the high preference for black or dune brown.

That's about one month worth of data.

On that note, if failcat is correct, then there's only been 100 total Wolf Grays with Butterscotch produced by Kia. I have apparently picked a very unpopular combo and I'm paying for it.

Woof. I got black and espresso brown. You have any idea how much longer of a wait it created for you?

It's hard to tell if my wait seemed artificially long just because of my order, or if my dealer was just very delayed. Regardless, I kept seeing Wolf Gray/Black or Dunes every month and it took me 4 months longer than they initially quoted me. Other people on this forum seem to think that it was only my dealer being slow with my allocation, but I'm not convinced.

I realize this is an older thread but lots of good info. and wish I found it months ago. That said we ordered wolf gray SX-P with Dune interior 8-17-2021 and it was delivered to dealer 8-25-2022.

We also wanted WG exterior and gray SX-P interior and it was, as most likely know by now, NOT an option... Either way, the wait was worth it as every time I get in to the car I pause and stare at the color and we paid MSRP... Maybe good things DO come to those that wait.
