• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Hey folks,

I have a dealer in the Richmond area now telling me that i get an SX-P in a month max if i place one now. what are other folks hearing? This seems just like a tactic for me to place the order but wanted to ask here.

Thanks!

Just ordered last week from a dealership in Iowa and I’m from Chicagoland area. They all quoted me 4-6 mos or 6-8 depending on delays/transition to 2023 model. This sounds too good to be true!!!!

this is what i figured. There is a markup but what caught my eye was that 1mo timeline but i cannot figure out why they would be doing this though...it isnt like they arent pre-selling everything before it even hits the lot.

Order an EX from Friendly KIA in Port Richey Feb,25 arrived May,8 ..... 2k over MSRP with window tint and paint and seat treatment,,(what ever that is)

Go place the order and pay the markup. Ask if the car does not come in a month, will they remove the markup?? Is it even possible for Kia to accept an order and deliver to a dealer in a month through normal ordering process? Missing the order acceptance window is already one month wait.

Update: VIN created at about the paint process, so see following.

This is what I was thinking. Mine was 7 weeks between being built and arriving at my dealership. Less than a month would be amazing. That's like the Kia plant is on hold awaiting your order. I'd be shocked if you could get it that fast

Sounds like someone canceled an order or something. I detect a huge markup incoming.
