• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... so does anyone know about this death funnel thing with the front end of the telluride. how the whole grill and underneath by the fog lights is all pretty much open. well i found a website this guy makes these mesh screens to cover up. so no wayward rocks come blowing thru the radiator. the only prob. is that you gotta zip tie them on even tho the mesh screens look fine and hard to tell they are there. can still see the stubs of the zipties kind looks shitty. any advice

If a rock doesn't outright penetrate your plastic bumper at 80 mph, it sure as hell wont' do anything to your radiator fin or tube after bouncing around to hit it. My last 3 cars have had the same design and there have been no leaks.

I felt the same… looked into simple ways to get access between the rad and to avoid the external application of screens with those ugly zip ties… grill and (sadly) it looks like dropping the whole grill and bumper is the only option.

What about using small black wires to attach it, but cut them short once on and rotate them to the twist-off part is not showing.... if that makes sense.

Edit:
Something like this wire- Amazon Black Wire

Shared this in the other threads, but here's my telluride with the screens/zip ties. I just slipped the screens between the grill and zip tied them on. Hardely noticable from a distance unless you're looking for them.
