• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... These are things not necessarily clearly explained in the owner's manual......
1. selecting "sport mode" or "snow mode" and doing the drive then shutting down the engine results in an automatic selection of "comfort" mode when you restart....selecting "smart" mode and driving then shutting down and restarting results in you remaining in "smart"

2. Activating "auto hold" results in the vehicle applying a "brake hold" when you stop until you touch the accelerator BUT even if you have your foot off the brake pedal it keeps the brake lights on .....thus letting those behind you know you are "braked'!

3. The Telluride comes with assisted "hood lift"....most SUV's in this category come with "lift it yourself and put the prop rod up!"

....and I'm sure there is more to be found!:)

According to the on-line specs it shows a Temporary Spare Tire listed under the LX build and then for higher trim levels it basically says includes everything on the previous level Plus the following and the spare tire isn't listed in any other build. Are you sure the spare tire is a full-size tire?

Yes, it only comes with a temp tire. I have put a full size tire in place and soo far, nothing bad has happened. Was going to give it a while before calling it a win.

OOOPS!! My bad! It is indeed a TEMP spare tire.....I accepted what i was told without looking! Edited my post....

Was it a dealer salesman that told you that? If so, no surprise.

On upper trims with wireless phone charging, the car will remind you of you leave the phone on the charger.

Also - you can see your playlist song titles using just Bluetooth on the navigation screen. Don't need Android auto or carplay. Nice feature!

-- The interior mood lighting dims when the car is placed on drive/reverse (SX only feature?)

Yeah - but I have a concern... I have a hitch light connected to the 4-pin trailer lights connection. While the main & third brake lights stay on in Auto Hold; my hitch light does not - which implies if there is a trailer hooked up, the trailer lights will not be on during an Auto Hold (let's not debate if it's appropriate to use Auto Hold when towing, because it affects other lights that may be plugged into the 4-pin, like my hitch light, or lights on a hitch mount shelf or bike rack...).

Doesn't seem right.

BTW - it is possible to feather the brake coming to a stop and being able to make a complete stop without having Auto Hold or Auto Stop engage, even when both are turned on. Slightly more pressure on the brake pedal and Auto Hold engages and Auto Stop will too, if conditions are met. Nice when you come up to a line of stopped traffic at a light that just changed to green so you don't have to have the engine stop... works for me.
