I bought a seat cushion for my wife so she could easily see the HUD display while driving and also to provide her relief for her aching back. The cushion solved both issues. It raised her sitting position and gave her added comfort. Yesterday, I noticed when she used her cushion in the passenger seat, the airbag was disabled. Is it possible for her to sit on her cushion while in the passenger seat with the airbag on? Or does she have to choose between comfort and safety? Having her ride in the second row, even though it has heated and ventilated seats, is not an option! Is the driver’s side airbag disabled while she is driving?
