Yep, basically. I also detached the battery just in case removing the bumper would require recalibrating any sensors should they be detached while the car had power. To detach the harness, you will need to lift the little clip handle up which detaches the master harness' female end from the bumpers male endSo just to clarify, you took off the front bumper, attached the mesh to the inside of the bumper assembly, and then reattached the bumper?
3m makes these little clips you can buy at target that attach wires. Those are great for sliding the mesh grill under which keeps it fairly taught. That being said. I used tiny zip ties in places to keep it even more secure. Personally not a huge fan of zip ties holding trim together but in this case, with the nightfall grill, you can hardly see them. In my opinion, it's better to have them than to catch a rock in my radiator and have to pay for that repair...Awesome job!
How did you attach the inside mesh to the grill? It looks like possibly tape or glue?
Thanks! I thought about it but I actually like it the way I got it but to each their ownSuper clean install @Tell-you-ride.Should have put the lower grills behind bumper trim as well while you had it off to make the bottom cleaner looking too.

I was thinking the same, but you're right, to each their own. Otherwise, looks great. I think I'm going to do the same thing. Thanks for posting.Super clean install @Tell-you-ride.Should have put the lower grills behind bumper trim as well while you had it off to make the bottom cleaner looking too.

I have some of that too, just know it's not wide enough for the slot between the tiger nose and the lowest vents where fog lights go.I bought a few sections of this black powder-coated steel gutter guard at Home Depot $3/each. It’s bendable but not easily going to flex enough to install without taking the bumper off. Going to try to do it tonight.

Tough to say, but I subscribe to the better safe than sorry mentality. I have caught a few rocks on the grill already and having one hit the radiator just right can cause it to puncture, leading to some nasty repair bills. Is there a known problem with these cars and the need to ad extra protection? Having never had an issue with cars I have owned for this problem I am just asking why the need for the Telluride? Unless you are traveling in Florida during the height of Mayfly breeding season or following a semi loaded with gravel, my cars have been able to manage fine.

Does anyone know the part number for the retainer clips inside the wheel wells? I had some work done on my Telluride and they removed the front bumper. I just noticed that all three retainer clips on both sides are missing. The shop has said they will reimburse me for replacing them, I just haven't been able to figure out the part number to get replacements.
I also need one of the bolts that attaches the plastic skid plate to the underside of the vehicle that covers the oil filter and pan.
Thanks...from the bumper diagram, it appears I need the 81774 blind rivet, 3 per side. Agreed?Bumper-Front - 2020 Kia Telluride
