• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Do you have any complaints about your Telluride?

Also totally understandable if you don’t live in a region that has extreme heat or cold seasons. Remote start wouldn’t be as necessary.

My list of Don’t likes
1. No light in center console. Wouldn’t be so bad it it wasn’t so deep or if the dome light was directly overhead.
2. No light / mood light in wireless charge cubby. My 05 Titan had a mood light
3 . No floor lighting. My 71 firebird and Titan had floor lighting
4. No visual indicator for door locks! How much could it have cost for a set of red or orange stickers?
These are all things I will correct but the center console light and door lock indicators should be a no brainer for a car with all this crazy tech they dropped the ball on stupid things.

I’ve driven both Q7 and Q5’s with pano sunroofs, pretty sure it is not possible to close the shade with the glass portion open.

Also the perforated shades do a terrible job keeping the car cool on hot summer days. I prefer the blackout shades on the Telluride.

Product reference guide says 98.4ft range. Range would probably be a lot shorter with walls in the way.

I always love to use the remote start leaving a restaurant, apartment building, mall, or coming back to the car from a long walk and have it toasty warm in the winter or cooled in the summer. Kind of pointless to have remote start in these scenarios if you can only turn it on once you get close enough to the car to see it. By then the car would hardly have cooled/warmed at all.
Well, in my case, I start the car right outside my office window 10 minutes before I get into it. Hit the button, pack up my stuff, say my goodbyes. Not at all pointless. Toasty warm when I get in. But I only use it on extreme winter weather days. Not really into idling my engine to cool down a warm summer car.

Lifestyle differences. I don't really do shopping malls or restaurants ten minutes away from my car. I'm sure UVO is great for people who do. I just don't need it.

UVO is handy but it seems a lot of folks don’t care for it. The Telly is my wife’s daily driver and she likes to forget to lock the vehicle. Got the app set up to notify when the car is left unlocked. One tap and it’s done. I’ve used the app remote start a few times but my 21 S has the function on the fob
I’m thinking about keeping Uvo just for this. The Telly is my daily driver but it seems every time my wife drives the car she forgets to lock it. I blame her Mazda which has the proximity lock... haha.

I’m in the Midwest, park outside, and have small kids, so I use UVO almost daily to get the car warmed up before we get in.

My only gripe is with how slow it is to load the app, and the lack of shortcuts/Siri integration. I realize the commands take a few minutes to execute but even just getting to the point of clicking the button takes forever.

Same exact thing for me; we came out of a 20 Traverse that would lock. Unlock was either key fob or the button on the door handle.

My issue is that Nav doesn't allow input or changes unless I'm stopped and in Park. Unless I'm missing something that is a pain in the a**.

I don't like the scam they have going with having you buy the trailering package but can't deliver a hitch or wiring harness for a new telluride

Don't own our Telluride yet, expecting delivery in Jun'23 for a SX- Prestige (non X line, non X pro) but here are some things I wish were different. Nothing super fancy, just minor nitpicks. Some of these options were included in our 2009 GMC Acadia or based on our experience with our '21 Palisade Limited:

1) power seat positions that align to each key fob and auto adjust when the car is unlocked with the assigned fob. 09 Acadia did this.

2) keep the cruise control selected to On when the vehicle turns off instead of having to turn it back on every time the vehicle is turned on again. 09 Acadia keeps the setting On.

3) same thing as cruise control with the drive mode, keep it the same drive mode instead of resetting back to comfort when the vehicle turns off. My 16 Optima keeps the setting.

4) passenger talk include microphones for the passengers as well so the driver can hear responses. Probably to prevent reverb.

5) I think someone else on the thread mentioned the ability to do more with the navigation while driving. Amend this to allow more ability only when there is a passenger in the passenger seat (based off of the seat belt indicator and confirm with weight of someone in the seat). Allows your passenger to change the navigation vs the driver.

6) change the order of the front wiper settings. Since it's usually in automatic, if I need to do a quick wipe for mist, I have to go from automatic to Off to mist, then move it back to automatic again or it'll stay in Off. I usually keep it in automatic and toggle the intensity setting to get the mist wiped off.

7) automatically turn on the headlamps when the windshield wipers are engaged.

8) when using media from a Bluetooth connected phone, let the infotainment reopen to that option (possibly buffer before connected) vs resetting it to the satellite or terrestrial radio until Bluetooth is connected.

9) put the rear wiper under the spoiler top vs at the bottom of the window.

10) super nitpick, but have a way for the driver to clean the 360 cameras with window washer fluid.

11) super duper nitpick, have the mini Telluride in the 12" displays match the color of the actual Telluride.

A lot of this doesn't really affect my enjoyment of the Telluride. Just would be a cherry on top. Plus they would add another $20k to $30k to price.

I’m pretty sure the Telluride does #7. Every time I turn on the wipers my lights come on after one or two cycles.
Thanks, will test it out when our Telluride arrives. I don't believe this occurs on our '21 Palisade, but I could be wrong too. Should be a standard option on all vehicles IMO.
