Door lock

Just noticed something I'm not sure I like. When I unlock the doors with the key fob but don't open the door...the doors re-lock after 15 seconds. Is there a setting for this?

No setting unfortunately. I believe it re-locks in 30 seconds. Other car makers use the same function.

One scenario where this function makes sense is if your kids or you accidentally press the unlock button while out or at a restaurant. Leaving the car unprotected from burglars. Only for you to return to the car and realize it was unlocked the whole time.

My other 2 cars behave the same. I understand why they do it. I’ve actually come to expect it on all cars now!
