However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. Drove a Palisade Today

I drove both and I am still on the waiting list since April 23rd for the Telly, ugh, that being said I definitely feel like the Palisade had a nicer and Quieter ride then the Telly, plus it’s a matter of taste preference but I also liked the fact that it had remote start on the Key FOB, the Digital cluster, the push button back rows and enjoyed the blue link. The Telly was also a nice ride, and having owned a few Kia’s I am A custom to the way it rides, it’s exterior it very nice and sleek rugged looking

Test drive a Pallisade today, not a fan of front grill look and didn't like the electronic shifter and dash setup. I did buy a Telluride SX in May. Telluride hands down. I prefer the exterior look and interior set up and sportier feel.

I drove an AWD limited Palisade today. In my opinion, the big difference between the two is luxury vs. utility. The Palisade's interior was clearly designed with luxury in mind. The mirror thing doesn't bother me. The push-button shifter is a little strange to get used to, but not a deal breaker. It rides very smooth and would be super comfy on long road trips.

But fully loaded, you get just a touch more with the Palisade, including the digital cluster, power reclining third row and the self-leveling rear shocks already added.

It comes down to a truly subjective decision, and none are wrong. We're all different. You can watch reviews till you're blue in the face, but in the end, it's whatever works best for your taste and need.

I don't have kids and I've owned a few SUV's in the past for utility, the last being an Explorer. So I'm in "luxury" phase. For me, it's going to depend on availability and pricing in a few months, which is when I'll need to purchase. And either one would be a good choice for me, as they're truly both great vehicles.

As you have compared both, I did same, being a car nut and motorcycle guy with the children long gone did a point by point comparison. Three zones of A/C is the selling point for these vehicles living in Florida with my fur babies. After checking all option packages the nod went to the Kia EX which had the cooled seats. Also 2 thousand less. The Palisade with the convenience, premium, and guidance packages stickered close to 42k and they offer me 4k discount and the EX was still 2k less. Love my EX. Regards, Max

I hsve
I’d agree. If someone is on the fence for a Palisade, jump on one. Prices will be jacked up once word gets out. I’m sure that they will get converts from the Santa Fe fast.
I have already seen a dealership add a $2000 mark up on the Pally, in the Midwest

Come to Florida. Wallace hyundai, John Randall, executive closer, SEL with convenience, premium and Guidance packages 4k off list.

I had a different experience. I drove both the Palisade and the EX yesterday and thought the EX ride was much better. The EX rode smooth, quiet, and didn't feel "bulky" like the Palisade ride. I much preferred the EX ride. It's weird but the Telluride doesn't drive like a "large" vehicle. But it seems larger on the inside than the Palisade.

I also took the palisade out for a spin. IMO, the telluride feels bigger on the inside but drives like a smaller suv. The palisade felt good and drove the way you would expect. My biggest turn off was I Love the “S” trim on the Telly. To build a palisade comparable to a S it costs significantly more. Yes, I know, self leveling suspension adds more $ and is a nice feature but come on... max towing is 5,000. Most ppl towing are going to be under 2,000. Do you really need self leveling?? Give me 20’s, sun roof, heated seats, capt chairs, & a tow hitch for under $36k. Sold

The Telluride is a little bigger inside and out than the Palisade.

I'm planning on ordering my Telluride next February for an April 2020 delivery, hoping availability and discounts will be back by then.
We just ordered our Telluride yesterday and now are waiting for hopefully 2 or less grueling months. Anyways, they weren’t flexible at ALL on price. They said in California the MSRP was just raised $8,000 and they are in the process of raising price in other states as well. 🤔🤷🏻‍♀️ (We purchased in UT)

Wait, $8k increase?! Can someone in the inner circle confirm?

I can tell you, people keep stopping me to talk about the Telluride. There's something about the look that appeals to a certain group of people and they are curious about it. I'm truly glad I purchased this vehicle.

That sounds like a lie. They won't raise by $8k in just California. I would order elsewhere...

FUD to scare you into that you’re getting a better deal than Californians!

Don’t be a sucker. Cancel your order, that is ridiculous!!

I wouldn't buy a Telluride, mine is 3 months old and spend time tightening loose screws or replacing screws that are over tighten in plastic which stripped the threads, such the mud guards. Kia is going to lose many customers if they don't improve the assembly line. Assembled in Georgia USA, I expected better. Just saying!

What was it about assembled in Georgia that made you expect high quality...?

Sorry to hear that. It’s also possible the mudguards were put on by some kid at the dealer. Some dealers will add as many accessories as possible in order to extract the maximum of money from the customer.
I wouldn’t buy any car with mudguards, because you don’t need them unless you live on that muddy farm in the Telluride commercial.

That is just one of things...but it does drive nice. KIA will have a great model if they resolve it seems the many issues with the Telluride.
