Dubai - SX-P Moss Green - Photos (Gallery)

Awesome pics ! are the tires OEM ? Interesting they would spec an AS tire for the Middle East or is that common there ??

The Moss Green is basically metallic brown/green. Maybe it works under duller skies but under a blazing sun I didn’t really take to its appearance.

Thats what ive been worried about. I only saw moss personallyin overcast/rainy conditions and it looked like a nice dark green, but in a lot of customer direct sun pics it looks like a brown that I don’t really care for. Wish it was the green from the kia promos.

By the way I echo what someone said about how cars look online and in real life. I was initially sold on Moss Green but not now. The white looks better up close I think, as does the black.

I see. I love mine 😍

Hi Paul, great to see a fellow UAE resident with a Telluride.
Bro , I am planning to buy a Telluride but have some queries like:
1. I was told that SX is the top most trim. I am looking for an eight seater trim but top of the range. What is the GT Trim? They showed me the trim for 175K Aed. Is that GT?
2. I do not like the silver rims heart shaped. If you see the online reviews the rims are black. How to get them black? Does that effect the warranty?
3. I like the headlamps with amber color DRLs. The ones in UAE are white. Again the same question, how to make them amber and does that effect the warranty?
4. Hows the fuel efficiency and how does it maneuver at sharp corners and quick lane changes?
Hope to hear from you soon.

Is that a "hole with cover" in the rear bumper for a tow hook?

I don't think that is on the US model, although lots of "requests" for one.

Yeah, if you prefer white, that's great. I'm just not a fan of just plain white or black. I'd prefer space gray (Gravity Gray) than white or black. But that's just personal preference. IMO I do like how the White Telluride looks. Like Range Rover-y in most angles. Cheers.

Answers:
1. Yes, "GT Line" trim is the SX-P in other countries. It is the top of the line. There are 2 options available in UAE:
• SX-Premium "GT Line" 8-seater
• SX-Premium "GT Line" 7-seater (a bit more expensive)
2. I had these and just painted them to black. (We don't get the nice black rims from US) I don't know why and I'm jealous, I want those black rims)
3. It only turns amber DRL LED color if you press the hazard button. I know a place (Dubai) to have it permanently Amber color. But haven't done it myself. I don't think it will void warranty.
4. It does very good. Depends how you drive it but for me 7-8 days of home to work and back. (Echo mode). But if you use Sport mode, it will be fun to drive as it becomes more responsive and aggressive but it will drink up fuel pretty fast (faster then Echo mode obviously).

Hope I have answered your queries. Cheers.

Oh really? I didn't notice. But yeah we have covers on the tow hooks area. We also have active self-leveling rear suspension on the top trims. But honestly I do want to trade these to US specs:
• Our headlights to US headlights (Amber) - ours is cool because it switches from white to amber but I prefer just amber (just me)
• Rear taillights (ours is LED too) but ours do not blink on turn signal and hazard. Our indicators (amber) are on the bumper like on the lower trims in US (S and EX trims)
• 20 inch rims - we get the heart shaped once. So I painted mine black gloss to get rid of the heart shapes and to look more like the US 20" rims.
• Our interior colors here are limited - I wanted the white/light gray interior. I got butterscotch (better for my kids tho)

Cheers.

Beautiful car...nice shots!

Sounds like they are spec'd very similar to the Canadian version. We Canadians get the same wheels on the SX Limited (Same as SXP) and I wish we had the black wheels as the US models, but oh well. The self levelling suspension is standard for us (don't need to order the towing package to get that option) as well as AWD (FWD isn't available). Not sure what the other differences would be besides the KMH vs MPH on the speedo.

This is the first time I've seen someone break down the different versions available in UAE, so thanks for that :)

I love everything about UAE specs except the DRLs. We get white as standard. Also the rear turn signals are on bumpers instead of being integrated into rear taillights.
Secondly the rims are standard on all trims and they really look bad.(heart shaped) wish it got spokes.
We have standard AWD and 20" wheels.
Palisade has nice rims here. Its different from US rims but looks better than limited rims.
Top range of Palisade costs us an extra USD 3K

Kia Access or UVO is not available in Dubai, UAE. I have a 2020 model and have been told there is no regional support for it.

Can some recommend a place where we can change the DRL'S from white to amber?
