engine not starting

Problem with my 2020 Telluride. While stopping at a light or even a drive thru, the engine stops but will not restart when trying to go. This has happened at least once every time it is driven. Any ideas?

How do you start it back up then? Are you confusing the engine stopping with the Idle Stop and Go function?

Maybe. Normally I stop at light and engine stops. Green light release brake step on gas and engine restarts and i go. When it doesn't start I've had to push it out of the way. Let it sit a while and it restarts okay.

Yeah, that sounds like a problem. You should take it to dealer. The IS&G should always immediately restart the engine when you press the gas. You shouldn't have to push the KT to the side and wait to restart.
