• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Where are you all mounting your EZ Pass? I'm going to try to trade in for a smaller one, but wondering where you all have yours mounted?

There are two kinds, inside of the windshield or outside by the license plate.

Yea. I should have stated inside. I don't want the one on the front plate.

I put mine on the dash just behind the touchscreen for the infotainment center. Keeps it out of view and still functional.

That's where we had it dry fit. Then after the paint and interior protection, it won't stay in place. Going to have to put Velcro strips down.

I put my smaller candy bar shaped pass (with the 3 position switch) on the passenger side but up against the top of the windshield and next to the camera housing. Not sure where you are located, but in So California, they are switching to the RF sticker type (without 3 position switch ability)

I actually just installed the license plate ez pass yesterday. I couldn't find an interior spot I liked. I recommend getting tamper resistant screws if you opt for the exterior ez pass.

I have this same one. It's awesome.

I'm in VA. Gonna go to DMV to get our personalized plates transferred to Hellie. Will also check on a new EZ Pass and then mount it behind the instrument cluster. Thanks all!

I should have specified that I used the velcro strips to mount mine.
Did you mount the transponder with the EZPASS sign and bar code facing the window?

Mounted it with the 3M mounts right next to the rear view mirror but under the black decal that can't be seen from the outside. I hate seeing it stuck to the window from the outside and it hasn't affected the performance at anytime.
