• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Finnin Kia Dubuque Order to delivery times

That's cool I am going to try to head down there on Saturday to get a trade-in value on my vehicle I already got a bunch of other dealerships wanting it so I've got a lot of offers to bring against the trade-in. I also told Keri only wanted PDI no dealer accessories. How much were they trying to charge you for pulse braking?

Her statement to me was "When you placed your order we did not have an out of state charge on Tellurides ($2000) or pulse braking system ($349) you pay the MSRP." My sticker price is 50,060, and that's the price she quoted.

I have a '97 Silverado that I would be willing to trade, but don't really want to drive it 700 miles to the dealership. I'll sell it locally, and skip the trade-in process with Finnin.

I was pretty happy that she didn't even mention the option for other dealer accessories. The Telluride came with carpeted floor mats that I didn't really want, but I was willing to accept those.

I'm somewhat curious what they're selling in the pulse braking package. With ABS already included, I have no idea what modifications they're making.

Best of luck on your trade-in. I hope they give you a great number!

When we ordered in January, they said MSRP plus the cost of Pulse ($350). After looking into Pulse, I found that it may not be legal in my state (WI). Only bicycles, motorcycles, and mopeds are allowed to have any kind of flashing lights here. It makes your third brake light flash a few times before it goes solid red. Pulse tries to get around it by saying they don't flash, they pulse. When we brought up our concern to Keri, they let us order without it.

Good to know. I live in Wisconsin as well.

Yep. Still not getting it. Plus it hasn't been approved in Wisconsin yet. Usually if I have to slow down fast in traffic I pump the brakes a few times anyway to get the attention of the folks behind me.

I reached out to Finnin last week and they mentioned they add in the pulse brake thing for $349. I asked if I could opt out of it And I was told they put it on all their vehicles as they are required to add 2 accessories and this would be 1. Sounds suspicious bc I’ve talked with numerous dealers about ordering and not 1 has said accessories were required to be added. I felt like this was just a way drive up the price.

I have 2 of the 3 accessories coming on my Telly. Looks like Illuminated scuff plates have supply issues at the factory.

Received her today. Got a great rate too. Thanks Keri Clemens and Finnin Kia.

Just checking in to update this thread a little bit. We checked in with Keri today to see what our status is and where we are in line at the moment. She said that they just had orders from December picked up with ETAs of mid-August. We placed our order on 1/27/22 and are currently 16th in line. She didn't offer any other info, but at this point I'd think we're almost certainly getting a '23. Hopefully we'll have more details soon.

Yes it's definitely a 2023 because they are no longer taking orders for 2022 June was the last month that they were making or taking orders through KFOS for 2022s

I'm aware of the cutoff. However, I will gladly take someone else's canceled order on an incoming unit if it is a close match to mine. I'm not 100% sold on the '23s yet and I am itching for Kia to update the build tool to the '23 options. If I find I don't like any of the combinations, I may cancel. It would make me sad, especially after this wait, but I can't buy something that I'm unsure of. This will be my first brand-new car purchase and I plan to drive it for at least 10 years.

Yeah I totally understand looks like the 2023s will have all digital cluster. Was wondering if they were finally going to do an update on Android Auto so it includes the speed traps that show up on the phone which is not the case right now when Android Auto is hooked up.
Also they desperately need wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
