Finnin Kia Dubuque Order to delivery times

Just making a thread for others that ordered from Finnin Kia to see how their Order to Delivery times where.
Mine is in the sig below.

We ordered a 22 AWD Glacial White / Black SX/Prestige/Towing with Mats/Mud Guards from Finnin also.

Order placed on 10/7/21 w/deposit. We were 40th in the list. As of 1/17, I'm told there are 10 ahead of us. KFOS hasn't picked ours up yet, to my knowledge. I emailed them today to find out how many SXs were ahead of us (out of those ten).

I have a running spreadsheet on Finnin's failcat numbers. They had 20 in August, 4 in September, 15 in October, 18 in November, and 5 in December. So far, only 3 this month. As others have mentioned, production seems to be somewhat slower this month.

Yeah that's what I was afraid of I ordered mine on October 19th was originally 36th in line now I'm 17th in line as of this month and they only got seven allotments for January I hope this trend does not continue.

I asked my sales rep yesterday, and was told that of the nine ahead of me, eight are SX models, and one is an S model. The only reason any of that is relevant is for tracking purposes on failcat.

I heard back from Keri this morning. She said that my Telluride was picked up by KFOS yesterday, and that I'll have an ETA next week. Yours might not be far behind.

Okay I hope so I sent her an email today to see where I was because I knew Kia was upping their productio. I got a feeling mine won't hit this month and it'll be next month.

She just emailed me back. They were allocated 10 Telly's this month so with you being number 9 you snuck in. I am now number 7 so I should get allocated in March

Did you guys have to pay the $300 charge for the pulse brake lights?

I'm not familiar with the pulse brake lights.

We wanted the mud guards, but those might not be available. I didn't want the carpeted floor mats, but was told we had to add an additional option. I was (and remain) a little suspicious about being required to include the mats, but it wasn't worth making a fuss about. Maybe I can sell them in the forums. We'll likely buy either WeatherTech or SmartTech floor mats.

Awesome! I'll be curious to see what the ETA information looks like. I'm in North Dakota, so I'll fly out and drive ours back once it gets to Dubuque. I haven't asked yet, but I'm curious whether they are able to file the applicable ND forms and charge ND sales tax, etc.

ETA received this afternoon. Looks like another ten weeks out. We were initially told that Finnin had a 12-20 week delivery time. Ours is just over 29 weeks, so that initial estimate was *ahem* optimistic. Fortunately, we're not in a hurry. Still, it would have been helpful to have an estimate that was not 50% off...

10 weeks after getting picked up from Kfos? That is crazy. Most are getting theirs 5 to 7 weeks. Was hoping to get mine picked up in March and have it eta'd before my vacation May 13th.

I ordered with Illuminated scuff plates, cargo net and floor mats even though I just ordered the Smartliners after getting my wifes 15% off for being a first responder . Much cheaper than Weather tech. However I did order Weathertech mud guards. As for $300 for Pulse brake lights? I never heard of it. Sounds a bit suspicious to me.

Keri mentioned today that they are now advising their new customers of an eight month order to delivery time frame. I wonder how many new orders they have on their list. At MSRP, that list must be getting longer and not shorter.

Just got word today I am now 2nd in line so much for being picked up this month. I guess out of the 5 allocations they got this month only 2 of them were SX models.

Their production is all over the place. 5 in December, 10 in January, 12 in February, yet only 4 so far this month.

Contrast that with Prestige in Eau Claire. They had 4 in December, 7 in January, 6 in February, and already 5 this month.

Yeah I was hoping to have it by mid May so I could have it for our vacation but I don't think it's going to happen. I have three different dealerships that want my 2013 Durango hoping Finnin and will give me a good trade-in that's comparable.

Minor update from Finnin: my ETA was changed from 4/29 to 4/26. No VIN number as of today.
