If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Floormats for Telluride - good options?

Thanks @Jaggrey . Was it the oem split (carpet, I think) or the aftermarket canvas split offering?
Glad to hear that you like it this far. Ya, I’m still debating on the full up/full down or split option.

I got the OEM one. Yea it’s carpet. But at least I can remove it and clean it.

This is the one I’d probably get anyway. I’m not the biggest fan of the canvas look.

Can you please post a picture of the OEM carpet cargo mat

I like my weather tech's, what I like about them the most is the ability to hold a cups worth of drink if it gets spilled and not run off onto the carpet. They look nice and are well made... I've posted them in another thread, but they do well in covering the third row to second row opening.

@SVoigt , thank you for those photos. I posted this question in another thread. I wonder how the spill coverage compares with the weather tech and the smartliner options

@pheen , thank you for the pictures. Do these cover the isle / gap between the captains chairs? By the looks of the 'hump' in the second row, it doesn't look like they cover. Also, taking a look at 2020 Kia Telluride All Weather Floor Mats (AA014), it doesn't look like they do. @alexdrums , I do agree with you, but coverage on the gap between the seats for the kid is one of the main reasons I'm questioning getting these. I was sold on them until I saw @BabyRide's comment.

I looked at these Husky liners, but it's the same thing there. And at this cost, I'd rather stick with the OEMs.

So the debate is seemingly becoming between these two options;
WeatherTech - 2020 Kia Telluride | Floor Mats - Laser measured floor mats for a perfect fit | WeatherTech

Smartliner - SMARTLINER Custom Fit for 2020 Kia Telluride with 2nd Row Bucket Seat No Center Console with in between Coverage
This seems like the best option for price point and bang for the buck. Provides third row and isle coverage as well as two cargo mats for standard or extended trunk space. But I don't know what the quality of these are or the feel.

Have had WeatherTech for all previous vehicles and enjoyed their durability....heard about TuxMat and decided to go with that for the Telly....they ARE the "tux" of floormats.....great looking, easily washable, very durable! Glad I have them......

I feel that they look a bit rugged in the pics? Is that just me?

Actually, when I received mine I was a bit afraid they were NOT as rugged as my previous Weathertech mats.....but they indeed are and more "comfortable looking!"

Hi, guys, I'm new here, looking for canadian winter mats brought me here. Tuxmats looks good to me but this review on Amazon got me hesitate but nobody here seems to have problems with them ?
'' They don't use any of the existing floor mat hooks and require you to use one with a nail punched through your carpet. Tuxmat includes velcro to latch them down and little clips to attach to the plastics in the console. I'm afraid they will end up scratching the plastic over time. And finally, the sides don't sit as high as I'd hope to keep slush and water contained.''

So my biggest fear & question is : are Tuxmats use the existing OEM hooks on the floor of the vehicle?

I want to get good floormats to protect the car, and there a lot of choices on Amazon: OEM, "TOUGH Pro", "Tux Mat", etc. Does anyone have a good experience with a particular company that they'd like to share in terms of fit, quality, etc? Thanks!
I got the OEM ones off Amazon, they have the cargo mat as well.

I think I'm going to go with the ToughPro floor mats. I like that they make a quality product plus the lifetime guarantee, made in USA and I can get a matching cargo mat from them too. The prices are reasonable ordering direct from their website too.

The tuxmats include a hook (basically a wire/pin) that you insert into the carpet with a plug that fits into a hole on the mat and locks it into place. But.... I didn't use it. the mats are pretty form fitted and even without the hook the mat hasn't budged. I guess "legally" if the mat ever caused a problem then it wasn't installed properly but it really hasn't budged a bit. I didn't use any of the clips for attaching to the plastics either and haven't noticed any issue. Maybe the only potential problem with not using the hook in the drivers mat is if there were really a lot of water dumped on the mat it might leak through the hole onto the carpet underneath. I live in Texas so don't have to worry about lots of snow/ice. most likely I'd have to dump a large drink in the floor so hopefully that won't happen.

Not sure why they didn't use the OEM floor hooks other then possibly the hook/method they use maybe seals better to prevent water getting through to the carpet underneath.

Another liner company to throw into the mix. Haven't tried them personally but they look okay as well. For me personally, Ill probably buy the OEM mats for the looks and toughpro cargo mat.

SMARTLINER Custom Fit for 2020 Kia Telluride
i got the smart liners and they are perfect. Got them for my EX. with bench seat in 2nd row, 3rd row and trunk for like 275. If you order through their website theres several ways to save an extra 10%. I think very good bang for the buck. Lipped edge, perfect fit.
