• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Floormats for Telluride - good options?

Maybe a bit of a random question, but are the $210 carpeted floor mats "required" when submitting an order through a dealer? I'm noticing a decent amount of VINs that don't have this option selected but our dealer alluded that these were a bit of an oddity because Kia includes them and charges for them but they show as an add-on. Planning on using aftermarket all-season mats upon delivery.

I personally told the dealer when I ordered back in March that I didn’t want anything but wheel locks added. No floor mats, no ridiculously priced vin etch, etc. I did not pay for the carpeted mats but they came anyways so I gladly took them. I know I didn’t pay for them because the agreed upon price in March from my dealer was the same when I picked up in August, which was itemized and was the same as the vehicle configuration online.

Yea if you're personally ordering a vehicle to your specs and not buying a vehicle already allocated to that dealer, you can absolutely leave floor mats off your order, we did. Oddly enough you can only order carpeted floor mats from factory. The KIA all-weather mats are KIA accessories and obtained after the factory thru a KIA dealer. Some dealers may swap them for you or throw in free mats like Nightcrawler stated.

I didn’t add them with my order. I wonder if they’ll be in the telly when I pick it up

I'll post some pics when I get it for anyone interested. I don't know if you saw my edit on my first post but I got a notice that it shipped this morning. I ordered it around 3:30 pm yesterday. Impressive turnaround on their end.
Following up w/ some pics. Happy with these especially at the price point. Putting them to good use with some hiking and camping with the goofballs from the first pic.

Love the doggie crew 😃

Thanks for all the info here. Based on it, I ordered the Tuxmats and they look good. Not terribly hard to fit, add a nice touch to the interior. Look less industrial than the other mats. The maxpider 3D mats also look good. Not using the stock retaining clips is OK, the tux mats cover them in the design and should be water tight.

I think I am going to go with the Tux. I think I only want front for right now, and of course that combo of “front only” is out of stock on their site.

just wondering but mats that fit a 2020 should be able to fit in a 2021? Wanted to confirm before ordering.

Thanks!

I just order all three rows from Amazon, expected 9/17-9/25.

They should fit. Nothing was changed for the seats for 2021. Except the armrests for the captain chairs.

Perfect, going to throw some maxpider mats into the car. My buddy prefers them over weathertech and the price isn't too bad ($255 CAD) for the entire car. I'll report back eventually, need the car to come in first :)

How to the tux mats work with the sport pedal? From the pictures, I can't tell how that would fit in where the smart liner mats seem to have a space for it. Maybe I just don't understand how the pedal works but it seems it raises from the floor.

Look at post 58 (smartliner) and 104 (tuxmat). Gas pedal pivots from the bottom so the mats have a cutout. Brake pedal pivots from the top, so the mat just slodes under it. Weathertech liners fit the same way as well. (post 28)

Thanks, I had just been looking at the photos on Amazon and it wasn’t clear.
