• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Folding Mirrors

Can you tell me exactly where that is in settings?

Press the menu button on the steering wheel controls repeatedly until the USER SETTINGS menu is displayed on the dash between the dash gauges..... Then follow the directions posted previously by "chaidart".

Like you...I had a heck of a time finding it. I was looking for it amoungst the menus on the infotainment screens.

Thanks for the info on User Setting; what I was doing to eliminate the mirrors always folding: When exiting the vehicle with drivers door open, press the door lock button on the drivers door, close door and walk away. Every now and then it would sense my key fob in pocket and immediately unlock but not all times or just re hit lock.

I believe the side mirror adjustment, where you switch between the left and right side mirror does have a purpose. If you do not leave it in the center, when you reverse the side mirrors will tilt down. Putting the switch back in the center disables the tilt down on reverse.
THANK YOU!!! That worked!!!

Does anyone know if there is a setting to stop the mirrors from folding in when parking the car?
There is a button above the side view mirror controls that depicts the side mirror with an arrow. Press that and it will adjust the settings.
