• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Has anyone figured out what the key found in the FOB is used for?

it will unlock your door if the FOB does not work and lock the glove box.
Thank you for the quick reply. So on my old Dodge Journey, it also had a spare key and there was a key hole on the driver side door handle. However on the Telluride there is not a keyhole on the driver's door handle. Did they put it in some other location and I an just clueless to spot it?

From what I was told, there is a spot under than handle where the key can be inserted. Haven’t tried it yet though.

I don't have the car, but that is what is in the manual.

EDIT

Try this.

Yes, there is a plastic cover. remove that and key slot is under that cover
