For all others looking to place orders for MSRP, I would definitely recommend Gossett Kia South (Mt. Moriah location). I would like to share the salesperson as well who helped me with my order.

Couple of occasions where he went above and beyond

1) Kia added few extras (800$) worth of accessories and price increase after 01/01 to the msrp. He fought will his manager to remove them from the selling price.
2) He mentioned that he ordered the vehicle from the dealerships existing allocation and hence I received in 10 weeks which he says he can do for new orders.
3) Match interest rate with my credit union 1.75%.

He goes above and beyond and doesn’t hesitate to ask for exceptions with his management. Please reach out to him for placing your orders. This is our 2nd Telluride and are very happy with our experience.

Edit: Forgot to add that he is also shipping the docs through fedex as we couldn’t go to Memphis because of personal issues. As a norm, they want customers to sign documents in person.

NYC- AVOID IT!!!! Don't even try.

NJ - Nutley Auto Kia is honoring MSRP but they want you to buy 3 accessories and then the wait game begins. $500 deposit but its refundable. DOC fee $399, NJ taxes 6.625. You will then have to pay to ship it your state or buy a one way ticket and road trip back. Estimate wait time 4-6 months. depends on where you land on the list and how fast they get it.

Colorado - I25 (Fowler KIA of Longmont) Is honoring MSRP price with a $500 deposit that its refundable and Doc fee $399. You will then have to pay to ship it your state or buy a one way ticket and road trip back. Estimate wait time 7-9 months. depends on where you land on the list and how fast they get it.

Upstate NY - Kia of East Syracuse honoring MSRP price with a $1000 deposit that its NOT refundable and Doc fee $175. Estimate wait time 5-7 months. depends on where you land on the list and how fast they get it. Speak to Pat Conor. he's a good sales men he will tell you everything you will pay for upfront and not change it.

I have been looking at a couple different models both Kia's, but the Texas dealers are just being greedy

If you know of a dealer in Texas give a shout... btw since the 2023 are coming out in Summer time, would it be better to wait ? I haven't seen any solid news about updates ect.. TY

Update: The Kia dealer in Waco, TX had 2 Telluride's and both sold before I could jump on them, they are marking up about 2k over MSRP saying it for rust and some other stuff, they have 2 or 3 other colors coming in so if your looking... I think I might be back on the hunt for a Sorento SX x-line in white.

Update the Fort Bend, TX dealer will order at MSRP to people that are in the great Houston area.. GL the search continue

Mortiz Kia Keller and Griffith in Granbury. Selling MSRP $898 prep and $799 overpriced tint respectively. Took delivery Monday from Keller. Second order from Griffith 4 mos out.

I placed my order with Ken at Lev Kia a couple of days ago. I was told around 9 months, which I am willing to wait but hoping it is sooner. The only other place I could find at MSRP was Bald Hill Kia in RI but that is a little too far away from Boston, plus they told be "at least 6 months" for my order.

@cs97jb what trim did you order? I think SX has the longest wait. Other trims may be quicker. Did Ken mention how many orders they have?

Highly recommend him. Very professional and keeps you up to date on smallest details. They have few Tellurides coming in which are not yet sold. We got tired of the Florida dealers adding adjustments and fees to the MSRP and not wanting to negotiate. We found this forum and found Kia of Muncie and got our Costco pricing $1000 under MSRP. We bought one in 2019. Just ordered another one 12/17/21 Reach out to Lucas.

I wanted to understand the ordering process, how long it's taking and what a good deal is these days up huge markups and then, I found your post. Can you please provide more details on this? Ordered mine on my birthday 2/8 from Hiliary and Javier at Fowler/i25 Kia in Longmont, CO. Simple process and they do everything there and all docs and financing before we even fly in to pick up the Telluride.

Ordered an AWD SX in Black Ebony with Butterscotch seats. We test drove a Black Copper SX with butterscotch interior at a local San Diego dealership who had 21 (!!) Tellurides in stock and the interior
SOLD me.
