  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Got it!

An update for anyone who’s following along...

Recap - problem with the rear glass alignment was diagnosed last Friday

Monday - service rep confirmed approval from Kia for the fix and glass ordered

Today (Weds) morning - rep confirmed glass came in and if I could bring it in. I am slammed this week and asked if they could come pick it up. They said yes!

Today afternoon - someone drove over to my house (30 miles away) in a brand new Sorento off the lot as my loaner. Kinda blown away by that.

Repair and return tomorrow if all goes well.

I’m bummed that I needed a repair so soon to correct a stupid factory miss, but I’m also blown away by how well the dealership has dealt with it. The service manager (Tom) has been apologetic and communicative, and they went above and beyond making things easy for me. I’ve already praised Halleen Kia in Ohio on the sales side but the service team demands praise too.

Nice! What dealer are you using for service? You're in NoVA right?

@mgoblue This is great to hear. It's a good looking ride!

No I’m in Cleveland area so I’m using the same dealer I bought it from - Halleen Kia in North Olmsted.

Another issue... sigh

My passenger side camera is sending a flickery feed to the screens (360 view & turn signal blind spot view). Dealer is ordering a new camera and will also check wiring.

I mostly still enjoy my Telluride but with 2 service issues less than 600 miles I’m getting a little skeptical of the build quality.

Here’s a few pics. I think the combo looks great and feels natural (I’m biased bc my last car had a similar look). Black feels simple and classic to me, and the lighter headliner balances it well (see the angle from the trunk).

Congratulations on your new Telluride! I hope these are the only issues you will have to deal with.
I am curious how you find space in the driver seat with the rear facing Britax car seat behind it. We have same car seat and my husband I 6'2".

I’m 5’9” so there is plenty of space for me. I’ll have to measure tomorrow but there’s a couple of inches of room between the driver seat and the car seat. In the picture I shared you can see that they are touching - but note that is because of the comfort access feature thing where the seat slides back when you’re getting in/out of the car (on SX models at least). Hard for me to tell but I think a 6’2” person would be about that seat distance so you’d probably be fine.
