• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Any new Telluride owners that previously had Jeep Grand Cherokee? Would love any feedback on Grand Cherokee vs Telluride - what you like / dislike

I have a JGC Eco Diesel 2014 and the Jeep overall has been pretty good to us. Its strong points are 26-28 MPG, 600+ mile range,(Big tank !) far superior towing and 4WD system, Rock solid for rough terrain and extreme conditions. Has done everything I wanted or expected.. If they had a 3 row diesel JGC today, I would buy another.... But.... the horizon is not looking good for this prospect. But if you NEED a Jeep, capability wise... there is no substitute. The facts though are that 96% of jeep owners don't even scratch the surface of what the Jeep can do...including me....

Enter the telly… 3 rows we need, Decent gas mileage, REAR AIR ( A Big Plus !), Big vehicle feel, excellent safety features and Tech, Sharp looking and priced 10K less than my 2014 JEEP!
I'm saying that we may want to give this one a try.... Dealers may not be that great, but neither are FCA dealers...Hope fully a problem free vehicle... Dependability and longevity rank high on my priorities... Its negative is.. Not serious towing or 4WD system like jeep, small fuel tank, and a few features they cheeped out on even on the SX model. But for what you are paying, still a terrific value. I'm going to let the market simmer for a few months and see if more come in, and pricing relaxes a little bit...but I will be watching this forum closely to see how it is running and working out for current owners!

We have owned our fair share of Jeep GC vehicles over the years. Starting with an 02 Laredo, 13 Overland Summit, and then a 17 Trail Hawk. We currently have the 17 and a 12 Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon. We love our Jeep vehicles and if they offered a third row option (that wasn't an after thought like the Durango) we would buy it. Our boys are growing like weeds and we need the space now. We are adding a bigger vehicle to our fleet rather than trading in. Enter our search for third row vehicles on the market now. We drove the 19 Toyota Highlander Hybrid, 19 Subaru Ascent, 19 VW Atlas, 19 Volvo XC90, 19 Acura MDX Hybrid, and 19 Audi Q7. We looked at the GM Vehicle options too but we weren't impressed enough to drive them. All of these vehicles were fine. We weren't wowed enough to buy any of them. However, we were on the fence for the Volvo (Price tag for the one we would want to buy is right around 90K! OUCH). Then we were lucky enough to test drive a Telluride with the Prestige Package. It was AMAZING. Everything we want with a good warranty option that can almost match the Mopar Lifetime warranty we have on our Jeeps. We also drove an EX model Telluride too. If we would have driven the EX first we wouldn't have been as impressed. We placed our order for the Telluride with the options we needed (like the tow package) and we are patiently waiting.
