  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... My wife and I "traded" in our 99 Explorer 4x4 4.0L for a new Telluride SXP last Friday! It's a hell of an upgrade. haha

We love this thing! It's perfect for our two kids (2 years and 4 years) and us to continue our adventures. Right now it has about 120 miles on it and it seems to be our dream family car. It took about a month for us to find it, and it felt unusual during this COVID-19 timeline. We are fortunate to be able to buy it during this pandemic.

We really can't wait to take it on many more adventures and go camping when things return to normal. I'm glad to be with these forums as well!

Cheers!

Congrats on the SX P!! ...a very comfortable, capable and high tech ride!! Don't be afraid to read the manual on some of the tech stuff.....it really does help one understand how the car "thinks!"

It was originally about $7,000 marked up. Brought it down to $6,000 with almost all the options. I bought it in Roseville.

Welcome to the owners club. Ours is fairly new too and we are LOVING it. Can't wait to be able to take some road trips in it.

You definitely live in a great area for road trips... Miss the days that we could too there.

regards

Yeah I would have loved to take this to Yellowstone last July! Next time though!

Well you definitely got your money’s worth outta the explorer! Congrats on the upgrade

I guess that's the least exciting part of the new acquisition. Oh well... I'll have it paid off soon and at least the apr didn't give me heart failure. lol

The explorer had 212,800 miles on it. I repaired a number of things myself, including the Fuel Pump, Ball Joints, A/C Clutch, Radiator, and all of the general maintenance things.

I still have a 2007 Sedona EX with ironically 212,000 miles on it which is going strong!
