• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Hi all, just to put this out there into the "ether"; randomly started vehicle one day about 6 months ago (2020 vehicle), put into reverse, backup camera came on and then LOCKED UP... camera froze and stayed on, BLUETOOTH STILL playing from phone, but uncontrollable from vehicle controls.

Drove for about 20 minutes home.... parked, turned vehicle off and set alarm, but screen still showing locked-up back-up pic from 20 minutes ago and Bluetooth still connected to phone and playing. Had to remove battery cable to reset the vehicle and fine ever since.

Just an FYI.

You could have pushed the reset button.

??

Reset button? OMG! Where is THAT?
Near the volume control knob. A paperclip should work.

LOL! I thought that was just an "imperfection" in the console! Thanks... I need to read the book a little more carefully! WEIRD that my VEHICLE behaves like my TV remotes now! But I guess that is the world we live in!
