• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Could someone explain to me how to get the HD radio data stuff to work? When I go into traffic or weather for example it just says no data available. Do I need to tune into a specific station on my radio first? Or is it possible I’m just in an area that does not have this data being transmitted?

Is there some list somewhere of areas where I could get this data and where it is not available?

I don’t think HD radio traffic and weather are configurable to disable. You either have the info available or you are likely out of range for HD radio data reception.

The only option to turn on/off is when you are listening to FM radio stations there is a button to turn on HD radio quality audio at the top left of the screen.

To find out which stations near you broadcast in HD, use their website and type in your zip code.

Thanks Tellthemride. I live an hour from Albuqueruqe and don't seem to have the HD data where I live. I'll try it next time I'm in town.
