In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Headlight Led Upgrade

For what it’s worth, here’s a pic of my Sealights. I’ve liked them so far. I think the only negative I have is the slight dark spots but mine aren’t too bad. Light reaches far down the road, enough light on the sides to not blind oncoming traffic. I think the trick is to make sure they’re installed correctly (plug facing down).

My plug was facing down when I installed Sealight, however, the light pattern was really dim and did not reach far out. Yours look fantastic! Looks like Sealight manufacturing variation control is not all that great. If light pattern quality is a lottery, it doesn't give buyers any confidence.

We definitely had them oriented correctly, the tail part for lack of a better term was at the 6 o'clock position once it was locked in, after starting at the 3 o'clock position with the leds facing left and right. In the first set the 2nd light broke pretty much on the first attempt to put it in the bracket, though we didn't realize that was why it was so hard to install. On the second set the same part broke before installing but my husband could see how it broke, in that it was just popped loose over a teeny little screw. After fastening it back and installing as easily as the first light from the first set, the lighting was still not very good. We switched them all around and it just never got good enough that I'd want to leave them over the current halogens. Yours look great bmonaco!

I don't know why the link is so long but I'm wondering if anyone has seen, or more importantly tried, these type of bulbs with leds on 4 sides instead of just two sides? I'm curious if bouncing the light from 4 sides would reduce or eliminate the shadowy spots? $38.98 They are the 9005/HB3 but I don't know what the H10 means. 6000 lumens each, 6000k color warmth
Mdatt 9005/HB3/H10 LED Headlight Bulbs - 100W 12000LM - High/Low Beam,Fog Light Bulb Conversion Kit - DOT Approved - 360 Degree - IP68 Waterpoorf

There are others that are similar, like these ones
These ones come with colored tubes to change the warmth/color of the light $39.99 6000 lumens each bulb, 3/6/8000k for color warmth depending on color tube
Zdatt 12000LM 9005 H10 HB3 LED HeadLight Bulbs Conversion Kit 100W Full Lights High Beam 360 Degree Lighting for Car Lamp Replacement-Amber(3000K)/White(6000K)/Light-Blue(8000K)-2 Year Warranty

Then there are these replacement halogen bulbs for $9.97, just new bulbs with a white light instead of the yellow. Just 2000 lumens.
9005 HB3 Halogen Headlight Bulb with Super White Light P20D 12V/60W 5000K, 2 Pack,Long Life

All the choices are a little overwhelming. Those are just from the first two pages searching on Amazon. After our first experience I'm wary of trying again, I don't want to mess up my new car by getting something faulty as an experiment, but the white is more appealing than the yellow both in cosmetic appearance and in how much the view seems improved. I don't know how many lumens the original halogens are supposed to be.

No offense but changing a pair of bulbs shouldn't be all this complicated, if brightness is your concern look for how many lumens each bulb outputs

I agree, it's just frustrating to find a part that worked well for others didn't for us for whatever reason. I buy things I'm not familiar with based on other peoples reviews/advice/experiences and the members of this forum have been helpful in so many ways that I was looking for any other helpful input I could find on these bulbs. We've changed the whole headlight assembly on a couple vehicles with no trouble except broken retainer clips but just the bulbs have so many more options to choose from.

I agree, I just installed the Zdatts and they are not very bright. Here is a comparison between the Sealight and Zdatts with the Telluride parked at the same location. First is the Sealight, the second is the Zdatts. Unfortunately some construction vehicles were parked for the Zdatts. The Sealight projects much further down the road. The picture may not show it but the Sealight is much brighter overall.

Zdatts is a good light its just not bring but i can see its more wider and doesnt have any dark spots

I got hakari lights but when i installed they were terrible so m gonna mess around with them again but so far zdatts are the one i think i might keep

That's disappointing to hear. I was hoping that the Hikari Ultras were going to be the golden ticket. I have to say though that I kind of like the lighting on those zdatts. They don't project as far down the road as some others but they really illuminate the area in front of the car and far enough ahead for me (going by your pics lstking).

Can you please post some beam shot comparisons?

The Sealight has two hotspots to help project much further. The Zdatts do not have a hot spot. The illumination is pretty even. When I compare both, the Zdatts are titled much lower than the Sealight. Wonder if the Zdatts would work better if it's aimed up? Anyone know how to aim the projector?

Sorry to hear Hikari lights were terrible. Did you purchase during lightning sale? I have read elsewhere those items are often return items due to whatever reason, repackaged, and sold as new. I know... it almost sounds illegal. Shouldn't they be called 'refurbished' instead? But then whether they are truly new or refurbished, who knows...
