• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I have an SX AWD, no prestige package. When I turn on my heated steering wheel it will automatically turn off after a period of time, is this normal? I can turn it right back on

It would turn off after 30-60 min in my BMW, so I would say this is normal. They are heaters and not a cure for poor circulation, haha;)

Same as the seats, you can get burns even at relatively low temps over long periods of time. So they are trying to avoid that.

Yes, confirmed. Don't worry. You can just press the conveniently-located button again, kind of like a hot tub timer. Things with heating elements like toasters, ovens, electric blankets, irons, other machinery tend to have auto shut-off to keep from overheating.

Love the heated steering wheel. Warm hands = a good thing :)
