• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Hey Canadian Buyers , who wants the 20" Black wheels ??

my guess it would be probably easier to get the night sky wheels compared to the sx black wheels in the states.

So, some of these are OEM and others are not? Hard to tell, if so

not 100% sure but it looks like the black wheels are sold out anyways

I don't get how they can't give canada black wheels. It's the same wheel and the same factory.... something does not add up

Not uncommon. Same as we have different trim levels for the Telluride than they do in the US. IF, and it's the big IF, a person could find the OEM black wheels from a KIA dealer in the US, you could order them stateside and shipped to a US address, and then redirected here to Canada. Quite a few UPS Stores in border cities offer a redirection service, but the downside is that you'd pay shipping twice, and there might be an import tariff consideration once it crosses the border.

Makes sense. My wife really wants a black nightfall. I would be content with just an sx but at least we can get the wheels by getting the nightfall.

I'm just salty that nightfall won't give you nappa seats. 55k Msrp and no nappa. That is insane.

When we were going to buy a telluride we wanted the black stock wheels they offer in the states. I talked to a lot of dealers and they said they couldn't get them. But if we wanted them we would have to contact a dealer in the states. The dealer in Canada said the price of usually OEM wheels are outrageous and said might as well go aftermarket.

It's their story, and no more than that. Rampant speculation on their part, since they obvisouly didn't make an attempt to phone a US dealer to get a price for you.

So it's going to depend upon what you're after. Sure, the OEM wheels are always going to cost more, because everything OEM does. It's a decision each owner has to make in regards to how much of a hit in the wallet are they willing to take in return for sticking purely OEM components. The real answer can only be ascertained by checking with a US dealer and getting a quote from them on the part. It's a quick phone call, and then when you find out what the cost is, you can add in shipping and make a final decision.

I personally purchased a set of racing wheels for one of my other vehicles late last fall, and ended up going through the US to have them shipped up from the manufacturer in Florida. Surprisingly, the shipping wasn't that bad; and I didn't have any choice in the matter because the wheels I purchased didn't have any Canadian resellers. Ditto with a performance catless exhaust system I purchased for that vehicle. In that case, I chose to go with an OEM upgrade system as opposed to buying something less expensive from a third party manufacturer.

Only you know what you want, but it behoves you to at least check out the real cost to acquire them stateside and have them shipped up. Then you can make an educated decision on what you want to.

Hi , I am set on only buying a Telly SX Limited IF I can get it with the black 20" wheels that the US is getting ....................my dealer has confirmed that KIA Canada has decided not to offer them on the SX and above models . Today I sent a note to the Director of Marketing of KIA Canada making a case for the black wheel as an option .Are there any others that want them ?? We need to assemble as a group to press for their availability . Let me know and I'll gladly take the lead on this with KIA .
Totally agree! Why on earth are the RIMs different between the US and Canada. I'm in exactly the same predicament. I would have taken the Kia Telluride Nightfall but due to this car not offering the 2nd row bench, i've had to revert to an SX and spec it out to look like a nightfall. I then notice the Rims are different. Spraying these black won't cut it. It would be good to see some pics on how they would look mind.

However the plan goes kaputt when it comes to the rims. Even after spraying them black im not sure what they would look like.
