  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... We're starting our hunt for a 2021 SX Nightfall Prestige so I signed up hoping to get some purchasing tips and learn the best features to buy and/or install myself later. Wondering if $450 is worth it for
Interior Light Kit, Multicolored specifically? :-)

I wouldn’t stop a sale for it, but $450 seems high IMO.

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. I'm glad you found us! What might the Telluride be replacing for you?

Wife is driving a 2012 Sorento w/ 145K mi. Running fine, just getting old and needing some age related maint (bushings, shocks, seat wear, ...) Thinking I'll hold it for a teen driver...

Found an SXPN for $59K out the door locally. Need to get the breakdown.

If I were custom ordering, I would pass on the $450 Light Kit. You can search the forums and read more about it, but it's pretty basic in function. \You may have a dealer allocation with an ETA, or on the ground car, where you can't remove it. Pretty high margin option for Kia (not sure about margin for dealer). Hope that helps.

$59k is about 9k over MSRP! if you want one right away, you will likely have to pay a price above MSRP. Others on this forum have ordered from Kia of Muncie, Costco, etc for something much closer to MSRP. It just takes awhile to take delivery. Depending on your timeline (and patience) you could save quite a bit by researching on this site.

Found some good references to nowcar.com and they seem to have MSRP w/ no extra fees besides tax/tags. $500 refundable deposit. Free delivery. 10-12 week delivery time. Options are below MSRP too (tow, floor mats, ...).

That is how I bought mine. Overall, I had a very good experience with them AFTER they 'accidently' sold my first order. You have likely read my thread...
