• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Wife busted a tire because we have the lovely looking low profile tires with the Nightfall 20" rims. Has anyone had success putting a thicker tire on these rims? Currently has the Michelin Primacy 245/50/20s on it.

These are hardly low profile but get your point. Search the posts here as many have increased size but be aware that will require realignment as it's not simple like putting larger tires on a Wrangler. The foolproof method is to reduce the rim size and keep the same diameter by going with a different sized tire. For example, the 245 60 18 on the LX is essentially the same size as your 20s.

Tires just don't bust like you said. How did she manage to do it? Sometimes it's not the equipment.

If you increase sidewall without doing what @tpgh is suggesting you will have your speed display incorrectly.
