• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Title says it all, I'm looking for a good cargo carrier that I can mount to the tow hitch (Kia OEM hitch, '21 Telluride). If anyone has one that they use and like, please let me know. Thank you!

I got one from Harbor Freight a couple of years ago and used it on my Sorrento. It was cheap (especially with a coupon) and worked well on a cross country trip and although I haven't used it with the Telly yet, there is no reason it wouldn't work.

You find something? I'm looking to buy a decent carrier that folds up 90 degrees, not sure what's good and what's not.

I've looked at those at Harbor Freight and I think I would like to spend more to get a better product. I think the biggest issue would be that it is light and doesn't take up a lot of room when not it use.

The Mockins brand one is a good value for the price but it is painted steel so mine has signs of rust. The joint that folds 90deg tends to add some sag. To do it over I would go aluminum, more expensive but lighter and rust resistant.

Wanted to post that we recently bought the Mockins unit from Amazon. It was the bundle kit that includes everything including the netting, straps, etc. It was $179.99 after the instant Amazon coupon. It worked well. Seems to be far enough away that the exhaust was not going onto the carrier. We have a 2022 SX-P. It worked extremely well for our vacation.
