• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Homelink Mirror

The previous listed one on eBay is sold out. Anyone have any other sources?

PN for that one that is now showing "0 stock" is GNTX-1124. If you just search eBay for that PN, you'll find several, many used for just $50, if you swing that way.

I def like the homelink mirror with built in compass. It looks a little more correct than the one that comes standard in SX Telly.
What does a standard SX telly mirror look like? Just homelink w/o the compass? So this is an upgrade to get the compass?

Anyone know of a homelink mirror with more than 3 presets? I have an E and W gate to program in with different codes and 3 garage doors. Would like to program in all 5 so there is no small black devices hanging from my mirrors.

Howdy folks. This is a cool community.

I just drove my base-LX Telluride home, and immediately started the upgrades, so wanted to help out others here.

FYI, I bought one of these off of eBay. Ordered from here. Just $83 shipped.
Install was pretty easy. I literally spent more time reading up on it than doing it. I'd say it was 20min total. Keep in mind, this is a base LX, so no wiring harness already up at the mirror area. The instructions and harness that comes with this version says its for a Sorento, but used the instructions in this post, with some adjustments:
I didn't remove the A-pillar all the way, so no need to cut and replace the 1-time clips.
Those instructions only provide ignition-switched power (for the dimming and compass), but not the always-on HomeLink button power (the harness that comes with the mirror at that eBay link has 3 wires: switchedPower, alwaysPower, Gnd/neg). So I connected the other wire to a solid red on 2 connectors over on the fuse panel and it works like a charm. If anyone needs a pic, let me know.

So, to encourage anyone that is wondering: yes, it is really pretty easy to do this even if the wiring harness isn't there, and you still get the HomeLink power, and for just $83!

I'm pleased. Thanks to those here that try to help out!
I just started to install this mirror and bought the harness. I tapped the wires in the existing harness for the dimming mirror and while the dimming mirror works fine... I can't get the Homelink buttons to work. Any ideas?

Now I just purchased the homelink mirror to plug and play with my EX and again while the dimming mirror is fine... the Homelink buttons don't seem to respond. Do I need to add power or something to another part of the harness plug?
