With the MIA status of Failcat, I was looking for a way to search dealerships' inventory efficiently. As it turns out, the KIA dealer locator tool on the website is more up to date than even the dealers' websites.
1. Punch in a zip code that is in an area you would like to search and the KIA.com website will list dealers within a 100 mile radius.
2. Look at each dealer's inventory shown on KIA.com and see if it has what you are looking for. If not move on to the next dealer.
3. Go to the dealer's website and see if the KIA.com inventory matches. The dealer website usually doesn't have incoming units. Also check for pricing and add ons (sometimes they will be honest and list them)
4. When you find what you are looking for, call the dealer and ask for the out the door price, OTD will show any add ons and doc fees. DO NOT talk about payments!
This requires some leg work, but in 2 days I found exactly what I was looking for, in stock, and at a good price.
