How to put in an order if it's likely a 2023?

I have a lease ending in May 2023. Should I just wait for 2023 official options to come out? Seems like no-man's land for Telluride orders. It's most likely going to be a 2023 you receive and yet there's no official 2023 options to select??

Two choices
1) Wait
2) Order a "22" with a reputable dealer. When the options change, they will contact you about the changes ( if any) and input what you request. You should not lose your place in line.

I'd say to go ahead and get in line with a good dealer and then just update when '23 options come out. I'm hoping we hear something around '23s within the next 2-3 weeks. I'm hoping my order was timed just about right to end up getting a '23 in Sept or October.

how long do you think it'll take for us to see 23s on the roads once the pricing/options/etc are finally announced? i'm 99.9% sure i'll be getting a 2023 and it cannot come soon enough. i've been waiting too long!

I'm guessing late September in to October time frame. Just a guess though. If they pick orders in August to build in September then factor in time to transport to dealer it seems reasonable timeframe.

I placed an order for a telluride on Tuesday. The sales person said I’d likely be getting a 2023. Also, she’ll reach out if i need to modify my order (i ordered an AWD EX with premium package and sangria color). I’m pretty sure sangria is going out, so I’ll need to make modifications.
I’d get in line now. There are 20 people in front of me that Kia still needs to accept orders for.
