Hurt / Painful driver side console

For anyone 6 foot or teller I know when going for a long distance drive the console bar on the driver seat can be very painful to the right leg around the knee. Has anyone figured out what to do to make it softer and comfortable?

Everyone sits uniquely I would venture. Sitting with my seat back where I like it, my legs are generally parallel and never touch this part of the car. I'm 6 ft also. Maybe put the seat farther back?

Lol I’m 6’3 the seat can go back anymore

My husband is 6'5" and on a longer drive he just drapes a folded hand towel over that area to cushion the side of his leg. If he drove it more often I would find something more permanent, but it works for the little he drives it.
