Yes, correct. My local dealers are marking them up 4k-10k over msrp. They are not even taking 2021 orders at this time. If someone wants to be the first to have a Wolf Gray 2021 this is a great deal.

If you put down a non-refundable $5k deposit then OK a new buyer can grab the vehicle and let you off the hook but trying to profit $5k for just being lucky to get an allocation is BS...

You guys know the deal. Call the dealer. Ask for the GM or new car sales manager and buy this at MSRP. Good luck and I hope someone buys this vehicle at MSRP without this crazy "5k" vig.

There aren't haters (who posted any negative comments??). This is your third post - you joined the forum to "sell" your allocation - a property right you technically don't have, as it's up to your dealer to decide who to sell it to. If I were your dealer, and you said you weren't going to buy it, I'd say thanks and go mark it up and sell to someone else. Why should the dealer allow you to keep $5k? Makes no sense when you didn't buy the vehicle. You could buy the second one and sell it right away for a markup - sure - but you'd have to pay sales tax which erodes your price advantage. You'd probably still make a profit though buying at MSRP and re-selling.

I get that. I was just saying another user posted the number to the dealer for an allocation he wasn't able to commit to so that we all would know about it. I was able to reach that dealer and get it for MSRP just like he was getting it for. That's the way people should be.
